Who are they?
Around 2012, the two &friends began working together at a major digital agency in Quebec. There was clearly a fit, and more and more special projects were entrusted to them. Through these projects, they learned and developed new ways to collaborate, design solutions, and plan for the future.
In 2021, they reunited after several years and realized that, now more than ever, businesses need to evolve their ways of collaborating. The rest is under construction. There will undoubtedly be more &friends joining the duo, as the goal is collective. Stay tuned!

I thought about simply copying my LinkedIn bio here, but I figured you deserved better. Creativity and the world of business have always fascinated me (I always pictured myself in Mad Men), and I have a big soft spot for literature. I live in Montreal, prefer in-person workshops over online meetings, and when it comes to discussing a project, a drink is just right.

Well, after copy-pasting my LinkedIn bio, I read Eric’s… and rewrote everything. So, I’m the jack of all trades on the team. Yes, I do facilitation, branding, UX, UI, quick prototyping, user research, photography, illustration, video editing, climbing, biking, and more. I even dabbled in HTML and CSS for this website. I always have that desire to break down everything I do to understand how it works. It's a handy obsession—especially when it comes time to help you.

Are they credible?

Not to brag, but we weren't born yesterday either. On the usual metrics, we have a combined 19 years of experience creating, leading, and facilitating collaborative workshops. We’ve been fortunate to be trained internationally by the industry's best (Google, Berlin Design Sprint Academy, etc.). Google even selected us in 2021 as one of the top 50 facilitators worldwide to participate in Relay (we’ll tell you more later). In business design, JS has been part of Intersection Group's core team since 2019, and Eric is one of Canada's first official mentors. And most importantly, we work daily with many brilliant people who trust us.

Let's clarify some buzzwords

Design Thinking

It’s a human-centered problem-solving process that works best when executed in full. It may not be the fastest route from point A to point B, but it’s the ideal approach if you want to avoid finding a good solution to the wrong problem—or vice versa.

Business Design

Business Design is to your projects what UX Design is to a website: who would risk doing without it? Yes, it's an emerging approach. No, you can’t just run your business like it’s 1982. Yes, we’re here to help.

Workshops

If there’s no participant engagement, it’s not a workshop. If no work gets done, it’s not a workshop. If there’s no clear outcome, it’s not a workshop. A consultant talking for three hours in front of a PowerPoint isn’t a workshop. We even asked ChatGPT-4 what it thought—and it agrees.

Because nothing says “innovation” like gathering a group of people, stirring in a mix of half-formed ideas and—voilà—hoping a revolutionary product magically appears! We don’t do that.
